History  

Know as the Father of the Nation of South Africa, Mandela was an anti-apartheid revolutionary , becoming country’s first black chief executive, and the first elected in a fully representative and inclusive democratic election in the country in 1994.

He was a Xhosa born to the Tembu royal Family , he studied law at university , became an activist and was later jailed as a political prisoner for 18 year. Although the long term of imprisonment took a large part of his life away, he did not seek revenge and on his release , being a brilliant strategist and his strong believe in forgiveness he united the Nation of South African, creating the most progressive constitution in the world and restored order and peace to a land bathed in division and historical blood from all races.

He usually referred to as Madiba or Tata (Father)
